I was down a rabbit hole for my husband's Naze/Villers connection when I found this and it broke my heart. I can't even imagine what the family went through. Let us remember Devon, my husband's 3rd cousin.

Services for Devon Michael Gussy, 3, of Flippin, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Rose Chapel at Bull Shoals with Deacon Anthony Naze officiating.
The child, son of George and Kim Gussy of Flippin, died Sunday, July 31, at Bull Shoals. Burial was in Flippin Cemetery.
He was born May 30, 1985, at Mountain Home.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Heather Gussy of the hom; maternal grandparents, Bill and Paula Kirchens of Flippin; paternal grandparents, George and Audrey Gussy of Flippin; maternal great grandmother, Mrs. Bernard Kirchens of Chicago; maternal great grandfather, Anthony Naze of Rockford, Ill., and paternal great grandmother, Bertha Roest of Flippin.
Pallbearers were David Wilkes and Greg Gussy.
Arrangements were by Kirby and Family Funeral Directors of Bull Shoals."

"Visitation for Devon MIchael Gussy, 3-year-old son of George and Kim Kirchens Gussy of Flippin, will be from 7-9 p.m. today at Kirby Funeral Home at Bull Shoals. The child drowned in Bull Shoals Lake Sunday afternoon (July 31, 1988).
Services will be held at Rose Chapel at Bull Shoals Kirby Funeral Home Wenesday at 10 a.m. with Deacon Anthony Naze officiating. Burial will be in Flippin Cemetery with David Wilkes a Greg Gussy serving as pallbearers.
In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by a sister, Heather Gussy of the home; maternal grandparents, Bill and Paula Kirchens of Flippin; paternal grandparents, George and Audrey Gussy of Flippin; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Bernard Kirchens of Chicago, Ill.; maternal great-grandfather, Anthony Naze of Rockford, Ill.; and paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Roest of Flippin.
Devon Michael Gussy was born May 30, 1985, at Mountain Home. His family holds membership at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church."
